Update on Questions in Chats policy

Greetings Dominians!

The Staff has an important announcement and reminder to make regarding our policy on contacting staffers and directing administrative questions to their accounts or on the open Discord/Skype chats.

In hopes to improve our current system, we have decided that we no longer will be replying questions made in the public chats - as well inquiry sent to our personal messages, regardless if a Staff member is online and actively interacting in the chat at the moment. All questions should be sent as a note to the group. Still, we recommend that you seek such information on our journals prior to noting us.

As it stands, questions made in the chats get easily lost, can be repetitive, and it’s difficult to maintain streamlined and consistent information - both for the members and the admins themselves. The same happens to questions sent on private messages, many of them who can be found by reading our journals, and others who often require debate from all the team, slowing the process considerably as only one staffer is burdened with making contact according to their own personal schedules/availability.

By directing all questions to the group notes, members will have more clear access to their questions and so will the Staff. Whenever something requires debate, it will be less disorganized and, to say the least, less messy to work out the specific question and ensure the person has been replied to. It also guarantees that everyone has the same priority of time-response on their inquiries!

We are confident that this small change will guarantee faster replies, more concise information to be given and will be generally more straightforward for all parts involved.


On a more exciting note: the pack deliberations are nearing its end! While we still don’t have a date set, it’s safe to announce that further information will be posted soon. Stay tuned!
